Abstract

The injection of non fuel materials (iron ores, fluxs, slags, ilmenite sands), siderurgical wastes, plastics, and others, both in single form and in mixture with pulverized coal, is analyzed. As the characteristics of the injected materials, variations in the operation of blast furnace can be introduced.
