The steel was hot rolled in a laboratory scale two-high reversing mill. The shape, size, location, and number of particles per unit area in the steel microstructure are reported. The particles were semi quantitatively analyzed for the heavier alloying elements using EDS, while EELS was used for the lighter elements, e. g. carbon and nitrogen. The EELS study of the precipitates reveals that the carbon is present as a compound (NbC) without nitrogen.}, number={3}, journal={Revista de Metalurgia}, author={Mancilla, J. E. and Fernández, C.
