The alloy studied in this work, Al-5Cr-2Zr (mass %), was prepared by argon atomization. Three size fractions of powder particles were selected: 25-50 μm, 50-100 μm and 100-200 μm in diameter. They were Consolidated by extrusion. Independently of <i>D</i>, the flow behaviour of the alloy can be described by the power law equation. As test temperature increases, the stress exponent <i>n</i> decreases up to a value close to 5. A decrease of <i>D</i> causes an increase of <i>n</i> and delays the alloy degradation at high temperature. ER -
