The industralists and the Italian Administration have carried out common objectives throughout the last years for the decontamination of the industrial areas of Piombino. The accomplishment of the miultifunctional platfonn allows to treat and to decontaminate sites of national interest and has as it puts the valuation of the decontaminated areas, the rational management and the recovery of the remainders of iron and steel industry in a plant for the production of hydraulic concrete (CIC).
